Stan Zvorwadza, the Restoration of Human Rights (ROHR) Zimbabwe Spokesperson who is being  charged under section 186 of the Criminal Law Codification and Reform Act for, ‘threatening to commit murder and undermining state authority' was, on the 17th of April 2012, denied an Application for discharge by Harare Magistrate Victoria Mashamba. He will appear in court again on the 17th of April 2012 for trial.

The charges against Zvorwadza emanate from a disagreement with ZANU PF supporters in Mbare on the 28th of January 2012 following disruptions of an underground fuel tank installation project which he was carrying out in the area. Zvorwadza reported the case at Mbare Police Station before he was arrested for allegedly threatening ZANU Pf thugs, Clifford Mazarura and Clever Ntabande with murder. The ROHR Spokesperson was incarcerated at the condemned Matapi Police cells where he was allegedly assaulted by Constable Mberi. Zanu pf thugs have declared Mbare a Zanu pf territory and have played a central role in the disruption of development projects in the area.
